FHE with the Pattersons
Last night Jaymee and I went to Ogden to have Family Home Evening with John and Cindy. Talk about a fun time. We laughed until our belly's hurt. Jaymee and I treated everyone to Enchiladas in trade for some of Cindy's heavenly sugar cookies. None of you will understand anything about her sugar cookies until you've tried one for yourself. After dinner we played a game called Pit. I wanted to play it in an attempt to redeem myself from never having won a single round when we played at Christmas. I did! Actually I won three rounds and the third one may or may not have been in record time. After Pit we played Phase 10 and then ate ice cream. As you can see it was a fabulous evening.

Night Skiing at Brighton last Thursday
Here is the video of my new skills. I can finally hit a "real" jump now! It was pretty intimidating at first but lots of fun!
Even the worst of days can be great if you're skiing with the right people!!
First of all, I work for the greatest company in existence. At Backcountry.com they have a really awesome perk, which is the use of SkiUtah Gold Passes. For those of you outside of Utah, this is what that is...they are season passes that are good at any resort in Utah and can be used by more than one person (a typical season pass is non-transferable). Backcountry.com owns 7 of these passes and as employees we can earn points to use them by doing awesome things. Apparently I'm kind of awesome because I received two gold pass points recently. So today I took advantage of one of those points and used a gold pass to ski at my favorite resort, Snowbasin. I love Snowbasin for reasons too many to mention but perhaps my favorite love for Snowbasin is the people I get to ski with when I am there.
We left Salt Lake at 7:00 am in very rainy and icky weather. Still looking forward to a great day I kept an optimistic approach, believing that the day would still be great. And it was!! First thing in the morning I met up with my favorite ski buddies, the Patterson's. At one point in the day I thought I had found a great jump....turns out I was wrong. The jump itself was great...the landing, not so much. I ended up in a tree!!!! As you can imagine lots of laughs were had by all and the day ended up great, even though we couldn't see where we were going most of the time.
I'm New At This Whole Blogging Thing!
Hello Everyone!! So today I had this great idea...well, Jaymee had this great idea. I've been sending several of you links to my MySpace video page to view my ski videos but some of you are unable to view those because most places block MySpace (and with good reason). So with this blog I can post my new videos, pictures, and other bits of information that I think you'll enjoy but if it all bores you please humor me and check it out anyway. Here's to me sharing all to coolness of my awesome life with all of you that I love so dearly. Enjoy!!
