Race for the Cure

Saturday morning Jaymee and I got up early and went to the Gateway to cheer on our friends who were running/walking in the Race for the Cure. John and Cindy ran the 5k and Annaleesa, Linda, Susette, and Laurie walked the 5k. We parked downtown by the Channel 2 station and then rode our long boards to the Gateway. It was lots of fun.

One of our favorite parts of the race was seeing all of the awesome t-shirts. Each team put together their own shirt and there were some funny ones. The team Annaleesa was with had great shirts that said, "Big or Small let's save them ALL!"

Save the Tatas!

The last one was our favorite. Next year I think I will participate not only to support a great cause but to get an AWESOME shirt!

    What a great picture!! Doesn't look at all like we just walked three miles. We look so refreshed and ready for more right? Good job to Annaleesa for such a great smile. I am very proud of her.
