winter weekends and bucket lists for moving

This weekend was a good one.  My good pal Cindee came up to Ogden for a slumber party and snowshoeing.  Just like old times.  We had a blast.  Ordered pizza.  Drank good wine.  And were probably in bed before 10pm.  I'm getting old.

Sunday morning I woke up in time to make us a good breakfast.  I did realize (too little too late) that I hadn't stocked our house with any breakfast meat to feed our guest.  I was in luck.  We had Eggo waffles and she gave our "fake" sausage and bacon a try.  She's a good sport.

After breakfast we loaded up the Forester (now known as Lucy) with our snowshoes and my craziest pup, Goose, and headed to the trails of Snowbasin.  When we arrived this beautiful husky was hanging out in the parking lot waiting for her person to get ready to ski.  Sky and Goose got to meet and run some of their crazy out together.  It was cute and they were fast friends.

Soon enough Cindy, Goose, and I were on our way up the trail.  Cindy and I in our snowshoes and Goose in overdrive (his only setting).  We were all pretty happy but Goose was the only one looking this incredibly handsome:

When I got home from snowshoeing Chris had my bike ready to roll for me.  We threw the bike rack on the Lucy, loaded up both of our bikes, and we were off on the day's next adventure.

We headed out to Farmington Bay on a perfectly "warm" winter afternoon to ride bikes, drink coffee, have fun, and make new friends.  Every single one of those things happened.

It was beautiful and fun and I wanted it to never end.
