My world to date....

Again, life has gotten busy and my blogging has suffered. I apologize to all (if there be any) of you who have missed my pictures and stories. I guess I'll start where I left off and bring you all up to speed on the awesome adventures that I have been having.

On Friday, August 22nd I was offered and accepted a position as a Regional Customer Service Representative with Salomon USA. For those of you who don't know they are a ski manufacturer...the best ski manufacturer, if I can add that. I have always been a fan of Salomon goods and since they moved to Ogden in 2007 I had hoped to one day work for them. I have consistently checked their website for any open positions that I may be qualified for. So, this August when making a routine check of Salomon's job openings I found one that I was qualified for and considered applying for it. I had always been more than happy and enjoyed my employment at Backcountry.com so it was a tough decision for me to make when deciding to apply with Salomon. Obviously I applied, was called in for an interview, and the rest is history. I accepted the job on August 22 and my first day of work was on September 3rd. I only had a week and a half to rent out my current room, find a new place to live in Ogden, give my notice to Backcountry, and make the move.

Mission accomplished and for the past month I have been living in my new apartment in Ogden with four awesome roommates and working hard for Salomon USA.

  1. Hi Brooke, we missed you tonight at the Backcountry Party in SLC. I even dressed up this year. But, I was modest, unlike many there who weren't, yikes! But, the food was yummy and we got free sprite :) Conference was so great. Glad you got to see your buddy Hillary. Hope you are doing well.
