Yesterday turned out to be a super duper awesome day!!! I got a call from my little sister, Casey around 10am to say that she was having a C Section to deliver her baby at 2pm that afternoon. How exciting, and talk about the jitters. I couldn't sit still all day long. Around 2:40 I got a text message with a picture of the cutest and newest member of our family. His name is Gavin Hunter and he weighed 5 pounds and 14 ounces. Today Casey is feeling great and not drugged... :-) Gavin has had a blood transfusion due to high hemoglobin, but aside from that is doing well. Sadly for me, I don't get to go home to see him until March...but I'm hoping that time will fly and it will be here before I know it. I can't wait to squeeze those cute little cheeks. :-)
i wasnt drugged, i was numb and a bit sore! you have someone cut into your stomache and pull out a baby! dont worry youll have enough pics between now and march that itll feel like in some way you are here or at least watching him grow! his cheeks are a lil chubby so i can see why you want to sqeeze them. i love his nose too, its cute and pudgy! we love you and cant wait to see you!
