Very funny shit keeps happening and I'm glad I get to laugh! It started yesterday afternoon. I came home from work around 6:00pm, hot and tired from my bike ride up the hill I lounged on my bed and watched some intervention while texting my BFF. That's the last I remember until 2am this morning when I woke up, still in my work clothes, headphones in my ears, laptop on my bed in my face. I must have been tired. I couldn't help but laugh, and be happy that I still had two and a half hours before I had to wake up to work out.
Then this morning on my way to work I was sitting at a stop light next to a Jeep. There was a police officer behind her but she must have been oblivious. After being stopped at the light for a couple of minutes red Jeep randomly proceeds across the intersection through the red light. I begin laughing at this point but laugh even harder when a block down the street I am right behind to cop as he turns on the flashing lights and pulls her over. I thought this was so funny in fact, that I gave the lady a thumbs up as I passed. I truly could not contain my laughter on this one, I really wonder why she did that...
I feel like these funny little things are positive energy that the universe is sending my way. It's like the pre-game to the week long birthday bash...which begins one week from today I might add! Yee haw, party on!
*And as the day progresses there is more to add...
Late this morning I looked at my running tights and found a hole right in the butt of them! I wore them to spin class yesterday and was on a bike in the front row. Today I wore them while running and also on the bike ride to work. THAT is funny!
Jaymee forwarded me the Blackfoot police log. My favorite entry:
BOTTLE THROWN: A caller said he was driving on Riverton Road and a beer bottle was thrown threw the window of his truck.
No folks, I did not make a typo. In the newspaper they used the wrong form of the word "through". How do these journalists keep their jobs??? Pretty funny shit.
