here they are. the best band ever. it's a bold statement. but it's real. that's why i said it. i don't take music lightly. it's a pretty big part of my life...okay, a huge part of my life. i watched this you tube video of them saturday night. i had seen it before. i love it. that's why i watched it again. anyway. that night i had perhaps the worlds greatest dream. i went to the weepies house. i don't know how i knew where it was. the magic of dream-land i suppose. i knocked on their door. i was nervous. they didn't know i was coming. what if they told me to leave...it's only a dream brooke. but deb answered the door and invited me in. steve and i talked music, recording, fans, culture, etc. deb and i just had fun. with all 6 of their kids. yeah. in my dream you had six kids, weepies. i'm sorry.

i've had dreams in which i hung out with the weepies before. one time we were in arizona. that one was the best. my bff and matt the electrician were there too. it was like a weepies concert marathon. too good for real life.

well, here's to hoping the weepies play at least some shows local to their home. which is southern california. because we can travel there. and if they do play some summer shows. we hope that they're later than july 4th. because that's when natalie comes back from chili. and it just wouldn't be right to go without her. the weepies are pretty rad. they'll know when we need a show. and they'll play one. i'm sure of it.

and then there's this. which has been my favorite weepies song as of late. even though its actually a deb talan song. that was before the weepies were. i love deb talan. she's an angel. and her voice is amazing. and she likes jaymees bird shirt. she has good taste. and i really will be the gladdest thing in three more days when i pick up my puppy. i.can't.wait.
